Taste and see that the Lord is good;

One of the best things about being created in the image of God is that we can know Him. We were created for the purpose of knowing Him. That means that daily, in our struggles, we can talk to God. We can continually taste and see that He is indeed good.
He’s good when we feel good. He’s good when we feel bad. God is good in our best moments, and He’s good when we’re at our worst. Knowing that God is good is foundational to your walk with Him. Yes, there can be moments when you do doubt His goodness. You might wonder, ‘where is God’? Or does He care. It’s in those moments that you have to remind yourself that He does care, and that He is good.
You also have to realize that His goodness is not dependent on your goodness. Even when you mess up, God is good, and He loves you.
Today’s Truth: God is Good.
It’s hard for sure sometimes to realize that God is good. But the truth is, He really is good.
So today, challenge yourself to taste and see that God is good. Try His goodness out. The more you test it, the more you’ll realize that God is good and He really does have your best interests at heart.

we are barely making ends meet with our family, but this is such a great reminder to look from a different perspective on how God is working in every one of our lives!
btw, been using this website for devo 3 years now and this has brought my relationship with the Lord to a whole new dimension!
