When we fear people, it traps us. It keeps us from doing the right things. It also means that we are letting people be the final authority in our lives instead of God. We should be seeking after God and making Him the most important voice in our lives.
Yes, we can listen to teachers, parents, friends, and others, but our ultimate goals should be living for God in all we do.
