Listen to advice and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise. – Proverbs 19:20 (NIV)
If you want to be successful, it’s always good to find friends that are wise. Often, that might mean that you will have some friends that are a variety of ages.
For example, if you want career advice, make friends with someone who has a successful career. Then ask them questions and advice to find out what they did to become successful.
If you need help growing spiritually, ask a youth leader or friend who has a solid relationship with God for help. They have been there before and can help you get to where you want to go.
Today’s Key: Have Wise Friends
Having wise friends is important. They can help guide you when you don’t know what to do. Wise friends also can keep you on track when things are hard and help you see blind spots in your life.
Don’t discount how far wise friends will take you. If you haven’t yet, decide to look for relationships with wise people. You’ll be more successful if you do!
