I call on the LORD in my distress, and he answers me. – Psalm 120:1 (NIV)
I have a type of prayer I do I call, “The wallet prayer”. This kind of prayer is the kind where I have lost my wallet, keys or something similar and I stop what I’m doing and ask God to help me find it. It’s a simple prayer, but time and time again, it works.
God answers our prayers, when we pray in faith and it aligns with truth. Praying in faith simply means that you truly believe that He will do it for you when you pray. These wallet prayers are something small that I can practice using my faith. I believe that when I pray, God is going to help me find that item. I don’t have to stress or worry about it, He’s going to help. I can’t ask for something that is ungodly like another person’s possessions or something because that doesn’t line up with the truth from the Bible.
God answers prayer. If you are going through some type of distress, don’t forget you can go to God and ask Him to help you. If you pray in faith and it aligns with truth, He’ll answer you!
