But that’s not all! Even in times of trouble, we have a joyful confidence, knowing that our pressures will develop in us patient endurance – Romans 5:3 (TPT)
Trouble comes to us all. You might be facing a difficult decision or struggling with the stress of work, school, friends and family. That can be really draining. There’s good news, however. Regardless of the trouble you’re facing right now, there is hope in trouble.
Today’s Bible verse tells us that our pressures and troubles develop patience in us. That might not sound like a great thing, but it is. Your real character is shown when you go through troubles. It’s in those situations that you find out whether you’ve been putting your trust in Jesus or in others.
Today’s Truth: Your struggle is making you stronger and helping you develop true character.
So if you’re facing a difficult situation right now, be encouraged. The difficulty you’re going through is helping you develop patience. Your struggle is making you stronger and helping you develop true character. Also, be encouraged that you’re not left alone to face trouble. God has told us that He would never leave us. So take courage, your trouble is just an opportunity to develop patience. God is good and He never leaves us alone.
