Back to School Tip #2 – Believe the Best

The LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him – Psalm 37:40 (NIV)

Going back to school can be intimidating. Maybe you’re not that excited because you got the hard math teacher. Perhaps you’re upset because none of your friends are in your class.

Going back to school can be hard because there are a lot of unknowns. You’re not sure how the year will be and what will happen. Often unknowns lead to fear, or being upset about what’s to come.

That’s where believing the best comes in. You can pray and believe God that this year is going to be a good year for you. You can ask God to help you each step of the way.

Ask Him for wisdom to understand the hard subjects. Go to Him for help when you need friends. You’ll be amazed at how much God can help you this year if you’ll simply choose to believe the best.

God’s got good things in store for you this year. Trust Him and ask Him for His help and see how He will help you have a great year.

Is there something that you’re concerned about in the upcoming school year? Let us know in the comments, we’d love to pray for you about it!

This is a mom who reads your devotionals with my son, Zach. . . he is a teen on the autism spectrum and he is starting at a new school almost an hour away (up until now he’s been going to our local high school which is basically in our back yard). We know this is part of God’s plan, but there are so many “unknowns” that make this such a leap of faith. We keep focusing on the fact that being in the middle of God’s will is the BEST place to be, no matter how “scary” the circumstances may be sometimes. Thanks for your prayers and for your wonderful devotionals. .. they have been perfect for Zach and God has used them to speak to specific situations for him/us time and time again. God bless you all!

This is a mom who use your devotional with my boys. One is 10 and the other is 15. Please pray for them as the Corona Virus has affected school and we are uncertain of what is to come. Pray that they will do well wether they are doing online or face to face classes.

I am worrying about how can I have a laptop or good quality cellphone that I will use this upcoming school year. My dad is the only one who is working in our family. I’m also asking myself how my senior high school life will be.

Praying that Micah has a God idea of how to get those things He wants. Also, that his new year in senior high will go good and be blessed!

I enter the 7th grade….I’m extremely busy due to playing 3 sports. I need balance in my life. I trust the Lord for all my issues but sometimes still get bogged down. Please pray for me that others will see Jesus in my daily walk.

I really never liked history, but this year it is required and since I am taking the AP class, it will be way harder. Please pray for wisdom. I need it as well as everyone else that has a class that they don’t really like.
