Dealing With Tough Times

Things to think about:

  1. Don’t let tough times ruin your relationship with God
  2. You can choose your attitude in tough times
  3. You will always rise to the top if you put your trust in God

Tough times happen to all of us, but its great to know that you serve a God that will be there for you in tough times. God understands better than anyone what you’re going though, and is happy to help you out…you’ve just got to ask Him!

feel free to email me (if it even shows up to you). I think we could have a great conversation. In the past year and a half I have been diagnosed with countless medical conditions, lost all of my friends, and was told I would never live a normal life again. You know what I did? Cried. A lot. And then after a few months of wallowing in my sorrow (which many people with my conditions do), I said heck with this!! And I prayed. A lot. At first I couldn’t even focus because I was in so much pain and my prayers began as “Lord please help me get through this song, I want to worship you.” And slowly but surely, with faith alone I’m sure of it, I gained strength. I’m now a full functioning high school sophomore and I was recently accepted to an advanced, residential high school for my junior and senior year. Don’t give up. Don’t lose hope. AJ you can do it and I would love to give you some more great verses and advice. (This response is three months late haha sorry). Anyone else in need of encouragement can email me also. Heads up guys, we got the best guardian watching over us! He’s got it!

Grace. I went thru something similar a few years back. It felt like all my friends left me. It will get better with time. Don’t give up, and don’t give up on God. God can use you to help people who are going through the same stuff as you later.

This past year I was diagnosed with cancer. It was hard, but I knew God cared for me and would help me through it.
