Daily Bible Verse and Devotion – Proverbs 20:27

Teen Devotion and BIble Verse on PurposeBe honest. Do you love junk food? My absolute favorite junk food is Cheetos, followed closely by nachos of any kind. I could sit, eat junk food, and binge-watch my favorite series and be pretty happy.

However, I’ve realized that if I fill up all my extra time with things like watching TV and social media, I don’t even have any time to hear from God.

That isn’t good. We should be making knowing God a priority.

Proverbs 20:27 – The spirit of a man is the lamp of the lord searching all the inner depths of his heart

God wants to speak to you. He wants to tell you about your future. He wants to reveal secrets from His word to you. The problem is, many times it feels better to eat Cheetos than it does to get quiet with God.
