About Us

Hi! We’re Andy and Amber and we are loving life in the cornfields of Iowa. We are a couple of fun-loving volunteer youth pastors that have full-time day jobs, being website nerds. We love teenagers, and write youth devotions and are youth pastors in our free time.

When we’re not busy doing web and youth group stuff, we love life, biking and going out to eat. In our opinion, you can never get enough good food!

But in all seriousness, what we really live for is serving Jesus and helping young people experience a real relationship with Him. We are passionate about young people fulfilling their dreams and becoming passionate about God.

If you’d like to schedule us to speak at your youth group, youth camp or conference let us know! Fill out our contact form to get the process started.

Hi Andy and Amber! What a great website! Thank you so much for writing and putting up all these devotions, and then making them available. I work with some young people at church, and I was thinking of recommending that they sign up for emails of your devotions. Just doing my due diligence, I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind sharing a little bit about your faith background, and which church/denomination you worship in? Sorry to be so nosy, I’m just trying to be responsible in my recommendations. Thanks so much.

I’m an evangelical that’s at an Episcopal Church (I know, shocking) in California, trying to make sure that the few young people we have in our congregation have the chance to know Jesus in a life giving way. Thanks again!

Hey Kevin – Good questions. We’re (student devos) not affiliated with any church or denomination. We (Andy and Amber) do attend a non-denominational church. We don’t pretend to be Bible scholars just want to write some devos to encourage students in their walk with God. Everything we put out is firmly based in the Bible and we use scripture to back up whatever we say. Hopefully that helps answer some of your questions! God bless in your work with young people at your church!
